Introduction:
The Sinnar AgroTech project is a collaboration between Sinnar University Faculty of Agricultural Engineering in Sudan and Bewell Global A.Ş. in Turkey. The project's primary objective is to introduce advanced agricultural practices and technologies to optimize farming practices and increase yields. The project will cover a total area of 2100 hectares, divided into six sections, each with a specific focus.
The project aims to address the problem of inefficient resource use in traditional farming practices, leading to low yields and negative environmental impacts. By utilizing modern farming technologies, such as precision farming, GPS-enabled vehicles and tractors, and satellite mapping and tracking, Sinnar AgroTech seeks to optimize farming practices, increase yields, and improve crop quality. Moreover, the project aims to minimize the environmental impact of agriculture by reducing the use of fertilizers and pesticides, promoting more sustainable farming practices.
Another goal of the project is to convert straw and plant residues left in the fields after harvest into high-quality animal feed by producing straw pellets, mixed with oilseeds and residues, with high protein value. This approach will reduce waste and allow cattle to develop more efficiently. Sinnar AgroTech seeks to promote sustainability, environmental responsibility, and economic growth in the agricultural sector.
The proposed project aims to establish a large-scale agricultural facility that utilizes modern technology and sustainable practices to increase food production and improve food security in the region. The facility will be located in a rural area with fertile soil and abundant sunlight, providing an ideal environment for agricultural activities.
The project seeks to address the increasing demand for food in the region due to population growth and changing dietary habits. Traditional farming methods are no longer adequate to meet the needs of the community. Therefore, there is a need for innovative and sustainable agricultural practices that can increase productivity and efficiency while minimizing the negative impact on the environment.
The project's objectives are to establish a comprehensive agricultural facility that utilizes modern technology to produce high-quality crops and livestock, increase food production, and create job opportunities for the local community. By integrating various agricultural activities, such as crop cultivation, livestock farming, and food processing, the project will create a self-sustaining system that maximizes resource utilization and minimizes waste.
The facility's sustainable practices, including the use of renewable energy sources, such as solar power and biogas, and efficient water management systems, will ensure that the project is environmentally friendly and reduces its carbon footprint. The project will also incorporate modern farming techniques, such as precision farming and hydroponics, to optimize crop yields and minimize the use of pesticides and fertilizers.
Overall, the proposed project aims to provide a sustainable solution to the increasing demand for food in the region, while promoting environmentally friendly practices and creating job opportunities for the local community.
